Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Description

• Microsoft infrastructure technologies administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, Office35, File server)
• Virtualization (preferably VMWare)
• Good knowledge about SharePoint, Systems Management; mainly SCCM & SCOM
• Perform extensive troubleshooting on the above-mentioned services as well as providing clear and descriptive resolution for the users
• Provide infrastructure support for peers’ applications such as student information systems
• Document all actions taken or needed in incidents and service requests
• Send swift and proper communication in case of critical incidents to ensure all involved and affected parties are informed
• Continuously participate in identifying technical improvements to decrease any administrative overhead
• Participate actively in planning and executing platform/application installation, design, and upgrade
• Participate in the integration/consolidation projects
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows OS administration tasks (Win 2008/2012/2012R2/2016). Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Client OS (Win XP, 7,8 ,8.1, 10 Educational)

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, and CA. Working knowledge of server hardware (RAID, clustering, virtualization, etc.)
• Virtualization (preferably VMWare)
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft monitoring solution SCOM
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Family (SCCM)
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Strong troubleshooting skills on the above products. MCSE Server Infrastructure, MCSA Windows Server, MCSA Office 365, and MCTS SCCM is a plus. ITIL foundation background is a plus
